Dear My Baby's Parents,
Hi! I never did like the word A-parents (adoptive parents). I much rather call you what you are my babys Parents. Simply you are now her/or his Parents. Congratulations!
Please pray for me. It was a hard decision to make. For when I placed my daughter/son with you I became your Angel Bringer of Life. This I ask you to give all glory to God. He was the orchestrator of I carrying this little miracle in my womb. I pray you will also honor the adoption terms agreed upon. For a Angel Bringer of Life never forgets the life she bore for another. The circumstances are all different for us Angel bringers of life. But let me assure you I do this with great courage, Sacrificing my life for his/or hers, For the love of my baby over what my heart really wants. God, and I talked often prior to this decision to let you become my daughter/or sons parents. When you held him/or her the first time, You were holding my heart also in the palm of your hand. As you love this God given gift. I assure you I loved him/or her more than you could imagine. So My Baby's Parents, This I do ask:
1. Love my child deeply (Do tell my child the truth about me)
2. Recognize the sacrifice of a (birthmother) Assure my baby that I loved him/her FIRST
3. Give my child the best (Don't spoil him or her please) I ask of your best, quality time, love, and build self-esteem in my daughter/or son.
4. Let my child KNOW Jesus! Lead my child to CHRIST.
I could go on and on, But I know you get the idea.
When my child ever comes to you and wants to know me. Help this child find me. You will not lose this child to its Angel Bringer Of Life. You will enhance it's growth spiritually. There is room for this Angel in his or her life. For I would never take away the FACT that you are my childs Parents. In Fact all these years that now have passed you are my Angels!
The triad of adoption can only get difficult when we do not allow each other to express ourselves as Jesus would. With love and respect.
