God's Promises through his word

Adversity

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 NKJV

Naked I came from my mothers' womb, and naked shall I return there.  The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord... But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.   Job 1:21;23:10 NKJV

Assurance

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present not things to come nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.    Romans 8:38-39 NKJV

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.   Ephesians 1:7 NKJV

Bible

The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. Psalm 119:130  NKJV

Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.  Psalm 119:165 NKJV

Church

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Discipleship

By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.  John 13:35 NKJV

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.  John 15:8 nkjv

A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.  Matthew 10:24 NKJV

Discipline

Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word.  I know, O Lord, that your judgements are right, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.  Psalms 119:67,75, NKJV

For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.  But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.  1 Corinthians 11:31-32 NKJV

Forgiving Others

Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a compliant against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

Colossians 3:13 NKJV

Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do."  Luke 23:34 NKJV

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.  Ephesians 4:32 NKJV

Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to him,  "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."  Matthew 18:21-22 NKJV

Guidance

The humble he guides in justice, and the humble he teaches His way.  Psalm 25:9 NKJV

Cause me to hear your lovingkindness in the morning, for in you do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to YOU.  Psalm 143:8  NKJV

Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths.  Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day.  Psalm 25:4-5 NKJV

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go, I will guide you with my eye.  Psalm 32:8 NKJV

Generosity

I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak.  and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."    Acts 20:35 NKJV

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.  So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.  2 Corinthians 9:6-7 NKJV

Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.  Proverbs 3:9-10 NKJV

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom.  For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.  Luke 6:38 NKJV

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this?  For all things come from YOU, and of Your own we have given You.   1 Chronicles 29:14 NKJV

God's Divine Care

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  Isaiah 41:10 NKJV

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.  When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.  Isaiah 43:2 NKJV

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  Matthew 11:28-29 NKJV

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.  1 Peter 5:7 NKJV

God's Forgiveness

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:9 NKJV

He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.  Proverbs 28:13 NKJV

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.  Psalm 103:12 NKJV

I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden.  I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,"  and You forgave the iniquity of my sin.  Psalm 32:5  NKJV

Hindrances To Prayer

If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear.  Psalm 66:18 NKJV

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.  James 1:6-7  NKJV

Holy Spirit- HIS WORKS

And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.  Acts 4:31 NKJV

And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.  Ephesians 5:18 NKJV

Honesty

Providing honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.  2 Corinthians 8:21 NKJV

Repay no one evil for evil.  Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.  Romans 12:17 NKJV

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God, deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.  2 Corinthians 4:2 NKJV

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds.  Colossians 3:9 NKJV

Holy Spirit's INDWELLING

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes.  So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.  John 3:8 NKJV

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?  1 Corinthians 3:16 NKJV

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, --heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.  Romans 8:16-17 NKJV

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.  Romans 8:14 NKJV

Humility

But He gives more grace.  Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."  Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.  James 4:6,10 NKJV

For whoever exalts himself will be abased, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.  Luke 14:11 NKJV

Love

We know that we have passes from death to life, because we love the brethren.  He who does not love his brother abides in death.  1 John 3:14 NKJV

With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians  4:2-3 NKJV

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  Corinthians 13:4 NIV

Lordship

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?  For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God's.   1 Corinthians 6:19-20  NKJV

Obedience

He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me.  And he who loves me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.  John 14:221 NKJV

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.  And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.  Deuteronomy 6:5-6 NKJV

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments.  And His commandments are not burdensome.  1 John 5:3 NKJV

He who says, " I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  1 John 2:4 Nkjv

OUR HEARTS

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?  Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV

And He said, "What comes out of a man, that defiles a man.  For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness." Mark 7:20-22 NKJV

If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a foreign god, would not God search this out?  For He knows the secrets of the heart.  Psalm 44:20-221 NKJV

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.  Proverbs 4:23 NKJV

Prayer 

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.  1 John 5:14-15  NKJV

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.  James 1:5 NKJV

Until now you have asked nothing in My name.  Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.  John 16:24 NKJV

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened.  Matthew 7:7 NKJV

Call to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.  Jeremiah 33:3  NKJV

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  Ephesians 3:20 NKJV

Praise & Thanksgiving

Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.  Psalm 50:23 NKJV

I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.  This also shall please the Lord better than and ox or bull, which has horns and hooves.  Psalm 69:30-331 NKJV

*Salvation*

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  John 1:12-13 NKJV

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16 NKJV

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.   Matthew 1:21  NKJV

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.  Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV

Whoever alls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Romans 10:13 NKJV

Self-Denial

Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul.  1 Peter 2:11 NKJV

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live be faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.  Galatians 2:20 NKJV

Trusting In God

He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.  Psalm  145:19  NKJV

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them... Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.  Psalm 34:7,9, NKJV

Victory

Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against you.  Psalm 119:11 NKJV

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.  2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV

I say then; Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the the flesh.  Galatians 5:16 NKJV

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments.  And His commandments are not burdensome.  For whatever is born of God overcomes the world.  And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.  1 John 5:3-4  NKJV

My prayer for you: Most gracious Heavenly Father, I come to you through your son.  Father, I ask that you be with (say your name here) as she goes through H.O.P.E. Healing of Post- Adoption Effects.  I pray that (say your name here) will receive your love and grow closer and closer to you Father! Father you know her pain.  You know just what she needs right this very moment.  I ask for your favor Lord on my sister in Christ healing. I personally know your healing powers, Your mercy and saving grace.  I praise you Father! I lift your name on High!  For you gave us this life, and will give us life eternal.  Amen
